Red Ribbon Run & AIDS Walk Identity
Triad Health Project

AWARD RECOGNITIONS
A Step Ahead
Known as Winter Walk for AIDS for the first 25 years, the Piedmont Triad’s signature HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event was reintroduced in 2017 as the Ron Johnson Red Ribbon Run & AIDS Walk. The Triad Health Project looked to expand the event and give it a memorable, consistent mark. The final brand designed by A Great Idea leveraged the power and potency of the red ribbon while suggesting movement.
Getting Word Out
In addition to the printed marketing, A Great Idea also prepared digital billboards and environmental graphics for the event. Triad Health Project also incorporated the brand into its social media engagement strategy to encourage the sharing of information about the event.

What is brand identity development?
Brand identity development is the process of figuring out how a brand looks and feels based on its values, mission and personality.
It involves stakeholder input—community members, staff, and leaders—and includes visual elements like the logo, color palette, typography, imagery, and overall style. Together, these pieces make the brand look consistent and easy to recognize everywhere it’s used.
